We stopped in Reims on our tour through France en-route home. Hotel au Tambour was a comfortable relaxing oasis just close enough to the centre of town to go by foot and far enough ou to be quiet.  Our girls very much enjoyed the pool after a long day of touring and then we walked into town for the cathedrals light show - spectacular.

All very confortable and clean - good value for money. Parking, pool and coffee in rooms a plus.  We would definitely come again.

We used the hotel as a stop-over in August en route to the ferry in Cherbourg. We arrived pretty late in the evening, but were well received. The room was clean and pleasant, the staff friendly and helpful, and the breakfast nice. The perfect hotel for a stopover, and one we would certainly use again, if doing the same journey.

 We found the hotel very comfortable and the Receptionist was very helpful in providing information about buses etc into the centre of Reims. It was walkable. Tea and Coffee making facilities were very welcomed and the air conditioning very welcome.

Very comfortable stay and enjoyable stay. Thank you for recommending the light and sound show at the cathedral - absolutely brilliant.

The owners were very friendly and arranged a taxi for us in to the cathedral as we're not as fit as we used to be.  Excellent and varied breakfast.  The only French hotel we've stayed at which provided complimentary tea and coffee in the room.  Would definitely stay there again if we're in Reims.

Recommended by a friend, a pleasant, clean hotel. A little difficulty with the language barrier and didn't really go out of the way to provide tourist information. A little bit of a walk to the centre of town but good proximity to the station. Parking and pool would be pluses.

Great to use as stopover, lockup garage for car, nice little pool, very pleasant staff, 2 min drive into reims centre, theres a 24 hr city car park right in the centre for the lazy or tired, saves the walk and youre right in the action, hundreds of cafes and restaurants.

 Spent 1 night on way back from skiing.  Very clean with nice atmosphere.  Typically french with best breakfast we've experienced in france for years . Loved the resident dog!   Great being able to walk into the city having left our car securely at the hotel.  Reasonably priced and lovely and quiet.  A real gem.

Spent 1 night on way down through France. A real find, Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good service. Comprehensive breakfast.

Would recommend to friends and will definitely stay again when passing through. Like the idea of a dip in the pool!!
