The Christmas market is back in Reims, for your greatest pleasure!
The Christmas market is a highly anticipated event for children and adults alike, and is a must for the end-of-year celebrations.
For the occasion, Reims is dressed in its most beautiful lights, and welcomes this year again 150 Christmas chalets.
❓ Did you know: The Reims Christmas market is the 3rd largest in France.
Where will the chalets be placed?
For 2023, the 150 chalets will be located on the Hautes Promenades site (Promenades Jean-Louis Schneiter) as well as on the Porte de Mars esplanade.
The Reims Christmas market will be open every day for a month of festivities!
From 24 November to 24 December 2023, experience the magic of Christmas, on the square of the cathedral and throughout the city center.
You will find many delicacies, regional specialties, local crafts and gift ideas, in a magical and majestic setting.
A warm Champagne escapade to get into the Christmas mood
This will be the opportunity to spend a very pleasant moment with your family, with in particular the much awaited Children's Kingdom.
Many activities are planned for the youngest:
- recreational workshops,
- wooden games,
- pony rides...
- and a meeting with Santa Claus, of course!
Musical entertainment
Discover the atmosphere of the Christmas Market with the musical entertainment provided by Chorales Arts & compagnie!
Various musical groups will be providing the atmosphere in the heart of the town and at the market on the following dates 📅 :
- Sunday 10 December at 3pm
- Saturday 16 December at 5.30pm
- Sunday 23 December at 3pm
A treasure hunt
Set off on a treasure hunt through the town to solve the riddles. 📅
- From Friday 1 to Saturday 23 December
Keep it safe, as it contains the 1st clue.
Meeting around the Cathedral for the "Regalia" show
Discover the sound and light show of the cathedral, the superb multimedia show full of emotions, telling you the history of the kings of France.
Take the time to stroll through the Artisans' Village. You will find original creations of jewelers, glassmakers, ceramists, embroiderers...
The Ferris wheel Place d'Erlon
The Place d'Erlon also has a majestic Christmas tree, 18 meters high, and a Ferris wheel that reaches 50 meters high and offers a breathtaking view of the city and its Christmas lights.
Don't miss the luminous ceiling that will overhang its alleys, it adds a little more magic to these magnificent places. There will also be musical entertainment, brass bands and street troupes. The festivities will last all month.
