The Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park
Nestled between Reims and Épernay, the Montagne de Reims Regional Natural Park reveals a different side of the Champagne region.

This is one of the Park’s most remarkable natural wonders. The Verzy State Forest is home to nearly a thousand twisted beech trees, known locally as "faux."
With their gnarled trunks, twisted branches, and low-slung silhouettes, these trees lend the forest an almost mystical atmosphere.
A specially designed trail allows visitors to view them while protecting this particularly fragile natural heritage.
You cannot explore the Park without passing through its vineyard landscapes.
Rows of vines trace the contours of the hillsides around villages such as Verzenay, Verzy, Mailly-Champagne, and Bouzy.
A portion of these Champagne hillsides, houses, and cellars has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2015.
