A little history...
Located in Reims, the Musée-Hôtel Le Vergeur is housed in two buildings dating from the 13th and 16th centuries.
Originally, it was owned by champagne houses such as Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin in the 19th century. In 1910, it was acquired by Hugues Krafft.
He gradually rebuilt the hotel and restored it. He reserved the upper floors for his personal residence and placed various collections of the cultural association "Friends of Old Reims" on the ground floor of the hotel.
When Hugues Krafft died in 1935, the association opened the doors of the Musée-Hôtel Le Vergeur to visitors.
